Got to start the year some time and what a beautiful day to kick off 2012's session log

Got to Cooden and loads of people there already. Rob was already on the water on a 5.9m and 110ltr ish board and it looked a bit under gunned ....
I opted for the rehab set up and quickly rigged my 5.7m XO Shark and Exocet 10'5 tri-fin and this was perfect as I could slog upwind easy, and then pick up waves to wiggle on.
The wind filled in a bit and I was blasting about nicely powered up for a while (timed predictably with Rob & Paul having packed up and left the beach).
Packed up around 1ish as sea started to flatten off and everyone else had headed in anyway.
Ideal rehab session, and apart from the finger 'burns' due to the chilly breeze it was perfect for my needs.
If I'd rigged the 6.6m Quad on the SCross 126 I reckon I would have been nicely powered up in the main, but the 10'5 is so much better for my Achilles than blasting with outboard straps ;)
